The Grand River Chorus Tenth Season

The Board of Directors

The Grand River Chorus held its Annual General Meeting on Saturday September 12, 2009 at Central Baptist Church. Reports were received and approved from president David Neumann, treasurer Dave Johnston, grants officer Elfrieda Neumann, and artistic director Richard Cunningham. 

Pat Lenz, chair of the Tenth Anniversary committee, outlined plans for celebrating throughout our tenth season. Celebrations begin with the season launch event set for the afternoon of Sunday October 5th in the lobby of the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts.

Members who have left the board this year are: Andrew Michalchuk (January 2009), Brenda Kerr (Secretary), Grant McConachie (Vice President),  and Marilyn Toth. New members elected to the board are Jim Dunning, Terry Kowalski, and Betty Stephan. Pat Eyzenga and Marilyn Kowalski were re-elected to the board as Choir Representatives.

The new board met to appoint/confirm officers. Officers for the coming year are David Neumann (President), Betty Stephan (Secretary), and Dave Johnston (Treasurer). David Dean was appointed Past President for the 2009-2010 year.
